Big winner of the week in this event? David Endres. I'd seen some awesome relay splits from him, but this 1:55.05 really came out of left field for me. As of now, the top 800 guys are Endres and Ebling. That's pretty surprising. Kamil Jihad is probably the state title favorite based on current qualifiers (will we see the defending champ run this event?), but this thing is pretty wide open. Heck, Seth Ketler is a big sleeper to potentially compete for gold if he was going to skip the 4x8 (seems unlikely to me). 

This event is starting to get deep as well. We are down to a 2:01 cut off which likely means we will close in on the 2 minute barrier pretty soon. Hoping a few more of those western guys can sneak in here like the Indiana guys or something. Shanahan could have 5 guys in this race before all is said and done as well. Pennsbury could have 3. Pennridge could have 2.
